It would seem that Sony are more open to introducing their console exclusives via PlayStation Plus. Earlier this week, they announced that Destruction AllStars would launch directly into the service, and now it’s been revealed that the PS5 version of Bugsnax will be available for free at launch via PlayStation Plus. Bugsnax Will Be Free?
Yes, the PS5 version of Bugsnax will be free via PlayStation Plus, but it’s worth noting that only the PS5 version of the game will be free, meaning you won’t be able to claim the PS4 version. While that might sound restrictive, Bugsnax will be free from November 12th/19th until January 4th, 2021, meaning that so long as you’re picking up a PS5 before or at Christmas, you’ll be able to claim your free game.
What Else Is On Offer?
From November 3rd to November 30th, PS Plus subscribers will be able to download Middle-Earth: Shadow of War and Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition, with all three games available to keep so long as you maintain your PS Plus subscription. On top of that, the launch of the PS5 will also introduce the PlayStation Plus Collection, with 20 excellent PS4 titles included as an added benefit of your PS Plus membership.
