Since the insane Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing, Blackpool Combat Club’s Bryan Danielson has been on the shelf with an injury. Fans were unfortunate to miss out on Danielson taking part in the subsequent Blood and Guts match between the BCC, Eddie Kingston and The Jericho Appreciation Society and then the dream match against Zack Sabre Jr. at Forbidden Door.

Danielson was kept away from the ring for almost two months, but at AEW’s SDCC panel, the former World Champion revealed that he has been medically cleared to return to the ring as early as this coming Wednesday on Dynamite. This was a huge announcement to take place at Comic-Con, proving how in-touch AEW can be with their fanbase in order to create a buzz outside of television.

Danielson confirmed that he will face Daniel Garcia in what will probably be a great match. Hopefully this will lead to a return match against ZSJ at All Out and maybe even a championship in the near future.

Rejoice, fans of ‘The American Dragon’.
