Hot on the heels of the announcement that Brock Lesnar will be returning to UFC for one night only, the Mayor of Suplex City has been revealed as the cover star for the much-anticipated WWE 2K17.

“My career has been defined by dominating every opportunity presented to me,” Lesnar said.

“I am excited for my newest opportunity representing WWE 2K17 as the franchise’s ambassador and honored to serve as the WWE 2K17 cover superstar.”

Here’s the reveal trailer. Have to say I’m disappointed that he doesn’t shriek like a baboon at any point.

WWE 2K17 marks the return of Lesnar to the covers of WWE games with him having graced the cover of Here Comes the Pain way back in 2003. Thirteen years later, Lesnar is being pushed as one of the biggest faces in the company again, despite him wrestling with about as much frequency as Mr. America.

Try not to get too hyped, we haven’t seen any gameplay for it yet. That being said, pre-order the game now and you get Goldberg as a bonus. If Sting is anything to go by, could we be seeing a roster return from Goldberg as well?
