Amid the huge wave of Switch news from last night, you may have missed the rather charming little video that Nintendo put together to showcase the system’s parental controls. It shows none other than Mario’s reptilian arch-nemesis, Bowser, monitoring his son’s gaming habits.
I’m not even going to begin to describe how the parental controls work, because the video explains it perfectly. Although I will say that I wish Bowser was my dad.
I know that Bowser is supposed to be the villain and everything, but if he put anywhere near as much effort into conquering the Mushroom Kingdom as he does into looking after Bowser Jr., he’d probably have achieved God-Emperor status by now. Just without the red tie and the orange toupee. And the countless offensive comments.
