Blazblue Cross Tag Battle Launching In Europe On June 22nd

Blazblue

PQube, publishers of Arc System Works’ latest fighting game Blazblue Cross Tag Battle, have announced that it’ll be releasing in Europe on June 22nd for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch, which unfortunately is a couple of weeks behind Japan and the US (May 31st and June 5th respectively). Consider this your word of caution if you’re thinking of joining the servers on release date; they’ll have had more practice than you.

If you want to get to grips with this 2v2 fighter before release date, there’s an online beta available from now until May 20th, which includes all 20 characters. Once the beta ends, it’ll switch to an offline demo containing only the four lead characters.

If you’re unfamiliar with Blazblue Cross Tag Battle, it’s more of what people from Arc System Works fighting games, with stunning visuals, a rewarding tutorial mode that helps beginners get the swing of things and gameplay with enough depth to satisfy even the most hardened of fighting game fans. Tag Battle also includes characters from Blazblue (obviously), Persona 4 Arena, Under Night In-Birth and Rooster Teeth’s anime series RWBY.

What are your thoughts on Blazblue Cross Tag Battle? Excited for it? Will you be downloading the demo this weekend? Sound off in the comments below. Maybe it’ll even be good enough to join our list of the best games of 2018.
