The last Call of Duty I played was Black Ops. Since then, I have pretty much discredited the series as boring, repetitive and arrogant to change. For me, personally, when you have games like Battlefield available, why play this dumbed down version? It appears that my negative tune may be about to change as the new story campaign trailer for Black Ops III looks epic.
The campaign is particularly relatable for today’s world as technologically augmented soldiers could soon become a reality – Black Ops III offers us a visual representation of what that could look like.
No matter what, it is the first Call of Duty to give me that feeling of excitement I got from the first Modern Warfare, a game which caused many of my teenage years to be spent in a dribbling state from over-playing.
