Best PS4 Deals From the PlayStation Summer Sale

Titanfall 2

When one sale finishes, another one begins. The PlayStation Summer Sale kicks off today and brings with it a heap of savings on all things PlayStation, but no doubt most people’s eyes will drift towards what’s on offer for the PS4 side of things.

We scoured through every listing in the sale and picked out some of the best deals we could find. Bear in mind that this sale isn’t anything particularly mind-blowing – a lot of the games on offer have been in previous sales for similar prices. While there are few absolute steals to be had, there are still a few little gems worth seeking out. The prices below are listed in sterling.

The Last of Us: Left Behind – £3.99
A good entry point to TLOU or an even better dessert to the main experience, Left Behind is a prequel that might be short but packed with plenty of heart nonetheless.

Outlast II- £17.99
One of the best horror games of the year so far is available at a relative snip, especially considering it only came out in April. PS Plus subscribers get an additional 10% off.

Ratchet & Clank – £11.99
One of the most successful remakes of recent years, Ratchet & Clank was released to coincide with the movie adaptation. Here’s a tip: buy the game instead.

STAR WARS Battlefront Ultimate Edition – £7.99
Arguably the version Battlefront should have released as instead of the one we got, the Ultimate Edition is still a good price when it comes with basically everything in the game.

Mortal Kombat XL – £15.99
If you’re looking for an excuse to get back into Mortal Kombat, look no further than Mortal Kombat XL, which comes with most of the post-launch content at a price cheaper than a haircut in London.

No Man’s Sky – £9.99
It’s destined to be released on PS Plus before the year is up, but if you’re yet to experience the most wildly polarising video game in history, it’s yours for less than a tenner before its first birthday.

inFAMOUS First Light – £3.99
Another spin-off, First Light is packed with enough content to tide you over between the next big purchase. It doesn’t hurt that it has a super easy Plat, either.

KNACK – £3.99
The PS4’s whipping boy, Knack really isn’t that bad. It’s fine. If you’re after something for the kids to enjoy, part with relative pennies and distract them for a few hours with a solid if unspectacular launch title.

Gravity Rush Remastered – £7.99
Once doomed on Vita, Gravity Rush was given a second lease of life on the PS4 and did enough to get more people interested in its sequel. Worth seeking out if you like messing around with gravity.

Mad Max – £9.99
A critically polarising game that’s become something of a cult hit, Mad Max is a good way to waste a few hours in an open world.

Titanfall 2 – £15.99
Just buy this beautiful game if you haven’t yet.
