Battlefield V Delayed Until November

For those looking forward to playing Battlefield V this October, we’ve got some bad news. EA have today announced that they’re moving the Battlefield V release date from October to November 20th, and they swear it has nothing to do with the fact the original release date was sandwiched between Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2.

In an official blog post on the EA website, it was revealed that EA and DICE are delaying the game to work on the some of the feedback given during events like Gamescom, which includes making differences to the gameplay tempo and player friction, which should make for more fluid gameplay.

This delay to Battlefield V will not affect the upcoming open beta, which is still scheduled to start on September 6th, which will include the feedback mentioned above. The delay will also allow the team to work on the Tides of War mode, the new live service designed to keep the community together.

Are you disappointed with this delay, or are you glad that Battlefield is no longer caught between two other big releases? Let us know in the comments.
