Battlefield 4 is a much better game than many give it credit for. Launch problems and an iffy campaign meant it didn’t exactly release to the same rapturous acclaim as Battlefield 1, but it still has plenty to offer. Better yet, it still has quite an active fanbase.
With it now going for relative pennies and cents, Battlefield 4 is the perfect game to scratch an FPS itch. If you’re thinking of getting it soon, make it quick: its Final Stand DLC, the fifth one released for the game, is currently free to Xbox Live subscribers.
Coming with four maps, new weapons and plenty of other bits of kit to make murdering slightly smoother, it’s available from now until the end of July. Mind you, this DLC has already been free multiple times so don’t sweat bullets if you don’t manage to catch it in time.
There are a few other deals for Xbox Live subscribers right now, including reductions on The Surge and RiME. It isn’t quite as massive as PlayStation’s Summer Sale, but you should check out the full list of deals nonetheless.
