Battlefield 1 Trial Players Are Having Issues Since the Update

Battlefield 1

Battlefield 1 has had a massive patch to add some a lot of new features to the already fun game, with the inclusion of the Hardcore and Fog of Wars game modes, as well as a slew of map and gameplay balancing changes.

Worth getting if you haven’t already dived right in? Well, normally you could try the game for up to 10 hours by grabbing an Origin Access account for a small £3.99, plus get some great games in the EA vault. However, since the last update, anyone playing with a trial account is unable to load any multiplayer modes. If you try the game will crash back to your desktop.

It’s worth noting that the single player portion of the game is working fine so if you wanted to check it out you won’t get the same issues. Checking EA’s forums, I can see that they are aware if the issue and working on a fix but no news on timeframe as yet. I’ll update as soon as we have further information.
