Bandai Namco Entertainment have announced that they will be publishing Guilty Gear Strive in Europe and Asia (South Korea and Japan excluded) when it launches on PS4 later this year. Developed by acclaimed fighting game creators Arc System Works, Strive will deliver new gameplay and design changes, while still aiming to offer one of the best fighting game experiences on the market.

Daisuke Ishiwatari, General Director of Guilty Gear Series, is pleased with the collaboration: “We are pleased to announce that Bandai Namco Entertainment will be distributing the latest title in the Guilty Gear series, Guilty Gear Strive. I am surprised that the chit-chat I have exchanged with Harada-san a few years ago has come to fruition.

“I wish this partnership will bring new joy to more users in Europe and Asia. We are working hard with Bandai Namco Entertainment to get people in Europe and Asia to play Guilty Gear more than ever before. Please look forward to it!”

This isn’t the first time that Arc System Works and Bandai Namco have worked together as developer and publisher respectively, as Bandai published Arc System’s excellent Dragon Ball FighterZ. Guilty Gear Strive looks to be a continuation of a fruitful partnership between the two. Are you excited for the release of Guilty Gear Strive? Sound off in the comments below.
