Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is by no means a particularly difficult game, with a lot of your success mostly being determined by how much you want to grind for gear and how well you spend your skill points. However, it does offer the occasional tough quest that can get frustrating, so if you’re looking to just have fun time with Frontiers of Pandora, you will want to change the difficulty to suit your needs.
To change difficulty in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, simply pause the game > Settings > Gameplay and then go to combat challenge. Here, you can pick from Low, Medium, High or a custom combat challenge where you definite how much damage you do to enemies and how much they do to you.
On this same screen, you can also autocomplete stuff like gathering and the rather repetitive SID hacking minigames. We’d definitely recommend that you do the latter regardless of wanting a challenge, as they’re used so often over the course of the story that they really start to detract from the experience. You can also set the mind painting minigames to autocomplete in this same section.
Remember: play your games however you want. If you’re worried about a lower difficulty gating you out of achievements, you can still get everything you need on any difficulty in Frontiers of Pandora.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
