Astro’s Playroom PS5 Trophies: Difficulty & Time To Platinum

It's time to play.

Astro's Playroom
Astro's Playroom

Available for free with the PlayStation 5, Astro’s Playroom is a launch title for Sony’s new console that pays homage to PlayStation eras past. Quite remarkably for a pack-in title, it also comes with a Platinum that isn’t hard to unlock, either.

The majority of Astro’s Playroom’s PS5 trophies can be unlocked by simply playing the game, beating worlds and uncovering parts of PlayStation history. Intended for players of all ages, Astro’s Playroom also doesn’t have much of a challenge as a rather straightforward (but still worthwhile) mascot platformer.

If you want your first Platinum trophy on PS5 to be for Astro’s Playroom, here’s all the trophy info you need.

Number of trophies: 43
Platinum difficulty: 2/10
Time to Platinum: 6-7 hours

There are three gold trophies, 13 silver trophies, 26 bronze trophies and 1 Platinum trophy for Astro’s Playroom.

Similarly to Astro Bot Rescue Mission, the previous Astro adventure, a lot of Playroom’s trophies come down to collectibles, mainly in the form of artefects. In Mint Condition, Such a Big Fan!, Welcome to the Third Place, …And Conquered Worlds, Dude Raider!, Charted! and Dude Raider! are all trophies for collecting artefacts in Astro’s Playroom, but you can also collect puzzle pieces for trophies like One Down, Lots More to Go! and Cool Hoarder.

These collectathon trophies may seem like they will take you dozens of hours, but Astro’s Playroom is actually a very short game without a huge amount to explore, so everything is fairly easy to find. We reckon it will take you between 6 and 7 hours for full completion.

Don’t forget that if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you can not only grab some free PS5 games, but also receive some in-game help if you’re stuck on specific parts of a game, depending on developer support. In addition, PS5 will now show trophy progress, so you should always be aware of how many puzzle pieces and artifacts you’ve collected.
