E3 2018: Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Confirmed After Leaks [UPDATED]

AC Origins

UPDATE: after the leaks, Ubisoft confirmed Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was incoming and that it would properly debut at E3 2018.

Original story: Ubisoft really can’t catch a break with these “leaks”, can they? I hope you noticed those inverted commas and understand what I’m getting at. You did? Okay, good. Glad we’re on the same page.

Anyway, the newest “leak” comes courtesy of Jeuxvideo, who seemingly managed to find a keyring for an unannounced new game in one of Ubisoft’s biggest hitting franchises. It looks like AC might be going to Ancient Greece with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

The helmet is pretty distinguishable in that it’s of Greek origin. We know nothing else until Ubisoft presumably reveal more at E3 2018, or when a coffee mug “leaks” the entire plotline.

Assassin’s Creed was on a temporary hiatus until Origins released last year (also the victim of numerous “leaks”). If Odyssey is to be revealed and released this year, we might be back on the Assassin’s Creed annual grind once again.

Here’s hoping Kratos can make a cameo.
