Armored Core 6 – Where To Find The WRECKER AC Parts

Hidden parts are back in Armored Core, and they are a little bit easier to find than usual, but that doesn’t mean they’re out there in the open for you to hunt down. Now in Armored Core 6, hidden parts are found in chests scattered throughout the game starting from Chapter 2 onward. They can easily be seen from far away as blinking orange lights on a large container. One of the first batches of items players can run across are the WRECKER frame parts from the manufacturer RaD. You’ll find all of these parts in the mission at the start of Chapter 2, “Infiltrate Grid 086”. Here’s how to find the WRECKER AC parts in Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon.

HC-3000 WRECKER Head Location

The first part, the head unit, is located about a third of the way into the mission after fighting “Invincible” Rummy’s AC, Mad Stomp. When you drop down on top of two weak MTs in what looks like the ruins of a smelting furnace, you will see a door in front of you. Immediately turn around and head to the back of the room and look to the right. The chest containing the HC-3000 WRECKER head will be in the corner behind a partition. Simply interact with the chest to pick up the part.

CC-3000 WRECKER Core Location

After picking up the head unit, continue forward until you come to a more open room with a cauldron of molten metal dumping into a large machine on your left. There will be a small group of enemies here that will need to be dealt with, then you can head behind the proverbial waterfall to find your treasure. There will be an opening next to the cauldron to head into a hidden room to find the chest containing the Core guarded by a group of MTs.

AC-3000 WRECKER Arms Location

Head back up to the same level as the cauldron and on the platform, look opposite of where the pouring molten metal is. You will see a rusty pipe big enough to fit your AC in it. Walk down this pipe and continue down the path. In the back of the last room you come to is the chest containing the WRECKER arms part. Beware, though, as you will be immediately attacked by the AC Bitter Promise. Don’t fret, though, as this one is a relatively easy fight. This AC has a Pulse Shield and a rifle, but the pilot is incredibly mediocre at fighting. Just lay down heavy fire on his AC and he will quickly fall to Stagger damage so long as you don’t let him get too close. You will also earn a Combat Log for fighting Bitter Promise, so this is a good opportunity to gain points for your Hunter rank.

2C-3000 WRECKER Legs Location

The final part hidden in this mission is in the second to last open area before fighting a group of smaller MTs and a Tetrapod mech. If you see a Catapult in front of you after jumping up to the second tier in front of you, look past it to your right. You will see a group of MTs scattered around. Fight through them and continue around to the far right. Jump up one more tier of platforms and you will see a ramp leading to a dead end. At the end of this ramp will be four MTs guarding the chest containing the WRECKER Legs.
