Apex Legends Getting A New In-Game Event In The Coming Weeks

Will deliver a "fan-requested feature".

Apex Legends

During an earnings call for the first quarter of the 2020 financial year, EA CEO Andrew Wilson revealed that the popular battle royale game Apex Legends will be getting a special in-game event during Season 2 that’ll “bring new content and deliver one of the most fan-requested features”. If that doesn’t mean Titans, we’ll be eternally disappointed.

The earning call also sees Wilson mention that Season 2 is currently performing better than expected, and they’re seeing a lot of growth in terms of daily and weekly active players. Andrew Wilson also promises that Season 3 is shaping up to be even bigger than the current season, so maybe we’ll see a new map, two new characters or something else entirely.

As for the in-game event in the next few weeks, Wilson wasn’t clear on what the fan-requested feature would be, though the most prevalent thoughts would be a PvE mode, some kind of solos mode, or some god damn Titans. Any of these suggestions would make for an excellent limited time mode, but if Apex actually goes ahead and adds Titans to the game, we’d be so happy.
