The long awaited Animal Crossing on Switch finally had some airtime with its full reveal at E3 2019.
Dubbed Animal Crossing: New Horizons, it will launch on Switch on March 20th, 2020. This means it has been delayed from its initial 2019 berth.

Nintendo’s Yoshiaki Koizumi on the delay:
“We need to change its release date to March 20, 2020. To ensure the game is the best it can be, we must ask that you wait a little longer than we thought.”
Animal Crossing’s 2019 release date was initially announced during the September 2018 Nintendo Direct, but that’s clearly not coming to pass.
