Amnesia Collection Free On Humble Store Right Now

Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Arguably one of the most influential horror games of all-time, the seminal Amnesia: Dark Descent is available as part of the Amnesia Collection on Humble Store right now with a 100% reduction. That means it’s free.

Along with The Dark Descent, Machine For Pigs and Justine come with the collection. While they aren’t as good or as pioneering as TDD, they’re still some fine slices of jumpscares and atmosphere all the same.

To redeem Amnesia Collection for absolutely zero cents, you just need a Steam and Humble account and you are good to go. However, the key can be used on Windows, Linux or PC.

I reviewed The Dark Descent as part of the collection on PS4 a while ago, and while it shows some sign of ageing and example of sloppy porting, it’s still worth playing. From my review:

“If you haven’t played The Dark Descent yet, it’s still worth your time, though it may be better to turn off the lights and boot up your PC instead of turning to this disappointing port. It’s still an enthralling experience on the PS4, but the port doesn’t quite do it enough justice.”
