Glasgow were treated to two very big NXT UK tapings this past weekend, including the rematch between Walter and Pete Dunne as well as the crowning on a new number one contender for the WWE UK Championship. Naturally, the British crew absolutely knocked it out of the park and delivered some spectacular content which will be streaming on the Network over the next couple of months.
One of the biggest bits of news coming out of this weekend was the debut of a former NXT Tag Team Champion to form a reinvention of the RingKampf faction. Alexander Wolfe, formerly of SAnitY, was rumoured to be leaving the company after disbanding the faction on the main roster. With Eric Young now drafted to Raw, it appeared their days were numbered anyway. It seems Wolfe believed himself better suited to the passionate grounds of NXT UK, where he could align himself with former friends: Walter, Marcel Barthel and Fabien Aichner.
The European quartet set their sights on British Strong Style and have quickly established dominance in NXT UK.
Here’s hoping Imperium works out a lot better for Wolfe than what SAnitY did as part of SmackDown Live. What are your thoughts on his latest move? Let us know in the comments.
