Tony Khan’s announcements have begun somewhat of a trope for episodes of AEW Dynamite and they very rarely disappoint. This week’s came as a bit of a shock to UK fans as TK finally confirmed the date and venue for the first-ever UK show, aptly named All In London. Khan, alongside new signee Nigel McGuinness, confirmed that All In will be taking place at the legendary Wembley Stadium in London on the 27th of August this year.

What’s most interesting about the date here is that All Out typically takes place during the first weekend of September in Chicago, the week following the Wembley show. Whether this takes the place of AEW’s biggest show of the year or simply acts as a prelude is anyone’s guess.

Wembley Stadium can seat 90,000 in total, last used for a major wrestling event back in 1992 for the historic SummerSlam headlined by Bret Hart and British Bulldog. This will definitely be a one-up on WWE who have yet to book Wembley Stadium for any major event since the early 90s.

Tony Khan said the following as part of the official press release,

“We want our debut in London to be epic in scale, and there’s no better venue than Wembley Stadium to deliver what I know will be one of the greatest events in AEW’s history. This April also marks 100 years of Warner Bros. and 100 years of Wembley Stadium – it’s a fitting time to come together for ‘AEW: All In London at Wembley Stadium.”

Tickets for All In London go on sale May 5th at 9am GMT, fans can register for the pre-sale at the following link.
