Well, thanks to this nifty exploit, you can claim a gym with an egg and let everybody know not to underestimate Team Instinct once and for all.
Once the player beats a gym, there’s an option to leave an egg behind, which has somehow gone unnoticed until recently. Attackers cannot take on eggs, so you’re pretty much just the Great Wall of China against foreign invaders – you will not be moved.
Yes, it’s shady and no, Niantic won’t just let this one slide. They’re bound to patch it out at some point or another and if people find out you’re an egger, they aren’t going to take too kindly to it. But hey, you need to get ahead in the game somehow, right?
