Marika Boros is a companion in Starfield who specialises in Ballistics, Shotguns, and Particle Beam Weapon Systems. She can first be found in the The Viewport in New Atlantis in the Alpha Centauri system early into the game.
After a brief conversation, players can recruit her to their ships if they pay 16500 Credits, which is quite on the steep side. However, Marika can also be persuaded, which will lower her going rate by half.
To persuade Marika to join you on the cheap, we selected “You’d be joining one of the best crews in the Settled Systems” and then “I knew you were a reasonable person.” After this, she cost 8250 Credits and joined our ship. Want to make this even easier? Consume something with a persuasion buff beforehand.
Marika cannot be romanced, though she can be a pretty good companion to bring with you on missions due to her combat-oriented skills. Give her a shotgun and watch her cut a pretty neat path for you.
