If your computer gets your down what do you do? Ctrl+Atl+Delete? Turn it off and then turn it back on again? Sigh and go out into the real world to meet real people and have real experiences?
Well a man from Colorado took it just one step further.
The LA Times reported that Lucas Hinch, 37, shot up his 2012 Dell XPS 410
The police log reported that “he had just gotten a new gun and had enough of his computer”. Perhaps it was the fact that his machine, which is now three years old just couldn’t hack it and tried to take the easy way out.
Mr Hinch had other ideas however, after putting eight rounds into the machine he was quoted as saying: “it was glorious, Angels sung on high.”
So the next time you get the ‘blue screen of death’ please don’t go out and execute your computer. Rage quitting is one thing but premeditate machinicide (yes I made that up) is something different.
Please don’t execute your computers, folks. They kind of have feelings too.
