Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are games all about building your Pokémon up to be stronger and stronger, evolving them into ever more powerful forms. Sometimes, though, you like your Pokémon just the way they are.
To stop your Pokémon from evolving in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, you simply need to press B every time they try to evolve, which will cancel the evolution.
However, you will need to do this every time they gain a level, so the Everstone is what you need to make your life easier.
The Everstone is a semi-rare item in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl that isn’t available to buy from any shops. Everstone can be traded for a Haunter in a north-west house in Snowpoint City, or sometimes even found while digging in the Underground.
Give the Everstone to the Pokémon you don’t want to evolve and then they will not evolve until you take the Everstone back and level them up again.
