EA were curious by their absence at this year’s E3, but that’s because they already have a plan in place to reveal their upcoming games: EA Play Live 2021. Here’s all the essential information you need to know ahead of the event, including the time, what you can expect to see and who’ll be hosting it.
When Is EA Play Live 2021 Taking Place?
EA Play Live is set to take place on July 22nd on EA’s Twitch and YouTube channels, with the pre-show set to take place at 10AM PT/6PM BST. However, it’s unknown yet when the main show will start, or how long it will take. Our best guess right now is that the pre-show will last up to an hour maximum, then the main show will last 60-90 minutes.
Who’s Hosting The Event?
EA Play Live will be hosted by Austin Creed, better known as WWE Superstar Xavier Woods. Creed himself manages and appears in his own YouTube channel, UpUpDownDown, so his pedigree for gaming isn’t to be questioned. It’ll be interesting to see how his appearance plays into the event, if at all.
What Games Should We Expect To See At EA Play Live 2021?
One of the big hitters at the event will likely be Battlefield 2042, though we’re likely to see more information on EA’s various sports games, namely Madden NFL 22 and FIFA 22. There have been rumblings of a legacy series being revived that could be revealed at the event, with the main theory being Dead Space, so that’s something to look at for.
