Rest up at the bonfire for this one.

UPDATE (17/09/2020): So it would appear that the ending slide for the Demon’s Souls trailer was a mistake, as the game will not be making its way to PC or other consoles. The news was confirmed to Kotaku in the dead of night last night.

ORIGINAL POST: During tonight’s PS5 Showcase, more gameplay was shown regarding Bluepoint’s upcoming remake of Demon’s Souls. You can view the gameplay trailer for yourself down below, but pay particular attention to what it says at the end of the trailer. (UPDATE: The trailer has been taken down, but when a new one goes live, we’ll add it below.)

After four minutes of demon slaying and new gameplay footage, the trailer states the following: “Not available on other consoles for a limited time. Also available on PC.” The fact that Demon’s Souls would be coming to PC isn’t surprising, as Sony seem to be making a concerted effort to bring more PlayStation exclusives to PC, but the “not available on other consoles for a limited time” line suggests we’ll be seeing Demon’s Souls making its way to the Xbox at some point after launch.

That, or it’ll come to the Switch, which quite frankly would be astonishing. I think I’d actually pay to see that.
