Season 3 of Fortnite Chapter 2 has launched, and with it comes a host of challenges for you to earn your precious Battle Pass EXP. While the majority of the challenges are fairly self-explanatory, such as eliminations at Steamy Stacks and finishing top 25 after landing at Misty Meadows.
There are a couple that require a bit more thought, such as entering the Vault at Catty Corner. Vaults have been in the game since the previous season, but if you need a refresher on how to open vaults and access the goodies inside, allow us to be your guide.
Here’s how you enter the Catty Corner Vault.
Fortnite Catty Corner Vault
You may be shocked to learn that Catty Corner is located in Catty Corner. Please, try and contain your surprise here. Due to the season launching today, you’ll likely find Catty Corner to be a more popular loot spot than usual, so bear that in mind when attempting this challenge.
The Vault itself is located underneath a shipping container by the main building of Catty Corner. In order to access the vault, you’ll need a keycard, but grabbing the keycard means taking out the main henchman that guards the location.
In order to find the head honcho, you’ll need to down a henchman and shake them down, which will then ping the area boss. Once they’ve been downed, you can then pick up the keycard (which takes up an inventory slot, so plan ahead) and open the Vault. Once inside the Vault, you can claim all the goodies, so long as you’re quick enough to grab the loot before someone murders you, something that happened to me while grabbing screenshots for this article. Don’t cry for me, I’m already in the next Battle Bus.
