Resident Evil 3 is probably one of the most action-filled games in the series to date, which means that it has a vast array of different weaponry to play around with. If you’re playing as Jill, you have the option to unlock the very powerful M3 Shotgun early on in the game.
First off, you will need to have collected the fire hose from the Subway Office (also where the M3 Shotgun resides) and then extinguished the fire that stops you from progressing from the alleyway that is on fire. Once you’ve done that, progress forward and then go through the door, finding the Bolt Cutters that you need inside the locker.
With those in tow, head back into the Subway Office and then go to the Gun Rack which is in the small office. Use your Bolt Cutters and then claim the M3 Shotgun.
The M3 Shotgun is a really useful weapon to have, it capable of one-shotting zombies and also clearing a crowd of them at the same time. It takes Shotgun Shells, which can be found or via crafting by using Gunpowder and High Grade Gunpowder.
