AEW Tag Champion, Kenny Omega, has been moonlighting as AAA’s Mega Campeón title holder, defeating Dragon Lee for the title earlier on this year. As part of AEW’s growing relationship with AAA, Kenny will defend his title against Inner Circle rival, Sammy Guevara, as part of this week’s episode of Dynamite.
This is another huge step in the relationship between the two promotions, with AEW now featuring both a Mega Campeón title match as well as previous instalments of the AAA Tag title feud between The Young Bucks and The Lucha Brothers.

This match will headline this weeks show, along with a match between Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Havoc which is set to be a barn-burner. This will likely be vital in the growing feud between The Elite and The Inner Circle as they build towards not-WarGames at Blood and Guts.
