4 New DLC Fighters Available Now For King Of Fighters XIV

KOF XIV

Despite being nearly two years old now, SNK are determined to give further support to King of Fighters XIV for the foreseeable future, and to prove that, they’ve released four new paid DLC characters that are available right now.

The first three characters cross the length and breadth of SNK’s back catalogue. Oswald made his debut in KOF XI, whilst Blue Mary has a history dating all the way back to Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory. Meanwhile, Heidern has been a mainstay of the series in some form or another since The King of Fighters ’94, whether that be on the roster or through appearances in character endings and Story Modes.

Lastly, this DLC pack introduces a new character called Najd, a Saudi Arabian character who is a college student by day and vigilante by night. Interestingly, the character design was the winner of a competition ran by SNK and Manga Productions.

The new DLC launches alongside a new stage that’ll be available to all players. Based in Saudi Arabia, the stage features a mix of old and new architecture. Perhaps you’ll even see Chris Jericho wrestling The Undertaker in the background. Also, a new update brings forth some character balance changes, which you can check out right here.
