10 Xbox One Games You Need in 2015

Halo 5: Guardians

As Xbox one owners, we have had to remain very patient. With exclusives such as The Last of Us and many more being revamped and released for PS4, there hasn’t been much to whet the appetite of the long-suffering Xbox owner. 2015 however, is the year to change all that.

1.Crackdown 3

Crackdown Xbone

It would prove difficult to define yourself as an Xbox ‘fanboy’ without ever having owned a Crackdown game. The high jumping, fast running, car tossing custom character system looks set to return for what will surely be a fun take on the war against crime.

2. Quantum Break

Quantum Break

From the creators of Alan Wake comes another game set to surprise reviewers with fantastic scores. The game looks to attempt something different involving the idea of time. Stoppages in time will allow players to either stealthily, or aggressively pass enemies, solve platform style puzzles and imagine how cool life would be if one could actually stop time. The game also comes out alongside a partnering TV show which is set from the point of view of the ‘bad guys’ Monarch. The TV show co-insides with the game, having acts in the game affect the TV show and visa versa.

3.Inside

Inside game

It has been 5 years since Limbo only increased everyone’s case of Arachnophobia, and now Xbox one owners finally get a sequel. Whilst not a direct follow on, the game is set to be just as creepy as the first. Only this time no giant spiders, just underwater ghosts, which is better I guess?

4. Halo 5: Guardians

Halo 5: Guardians

Like Crackdown, if Xbox ever had an exclusive golf club, you would have to have owned a Halo game at some point to even be considered (preferably Halo 3). Halo 5 Guardians is set to be the first true game for diehard Xbox fans, especially after Destiny’s mixed reviews. With the multiplayer out now, and 343 Studios modernising the Halo series by adding a sprint method and the ability to aim down the sights (yes I know, what FPS doesn’t have these set ups?) It looks set to have the fastest paced multiplayer yet, which if Advanced Warfare and Titanfall are anything to go by, seems to be the thing now.

5.Gang Beasts

Gang Beasts

Ever wondered how fun it would be to put sombreros on Jelly Babies and through them into pits of fire, or push them off moving Lorries? Well, wonder no more. Gang Beasts has already been enjoyed by PC owners, and it is believed Xbox one owners will get to experience the fun in 2015. The game is set up perfectly for local 4 player play, so go outside, make some friends and then when Gang Beasts is released, return as a group to your front room, and never be seen by anyone again.
