The Xbox Series X | S promises unparalleled experiences when it comes to current and next-gen games, but one thing you’ll still have to contend with is installing and uninstalling new games. With around 800GB on the Series X, and roughly 350GB on the Series S, you might be playing Tetris with your storage, rearranging games as you need to depending on what you’re playing. Here’s how to redownload uninstalled games.
How Do You Redownload Uninstalled Games On Series X | S?
In order to reinstall your old games, you need to do the following:
– From the Home Screen, press A on the My Games & Apps option
– From there, head to the Full Library menu.
Here is where you can then select from all owned games, all owned apps and your games that are accessed via subscriptions to Xbox Live Games With Gold, Xbox Game Pass and EA Play.
Any game that you haven’t got installed will have the download icon in the bottom right corner of the game’s thumbnail, the one with the downward arrow over a straight line. Simply pick one of these games and a menu will appear, prompting you to “Install All”, which includes the game and all relevant DLC, or visit the game’s Club to learn more info about the game. Naturally, you’ll want to hit Install All.
To delete a game from your SSD, you need to press the menu button when highlighting a game in your storage, and then select uninstall. The Xbox will then uninstall everything related to that one game, DLC and all, meaning you’ll have more space for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. In fact, never mind. NASA doesn’t have enough storage to hold that bad boy.
