It’s been rumoured for a while that Microsoft would be holding some kind of Xbox presentation before the end of March, and now they’ve confirmed that they’re partnering with Twitch to host the Indie Showcase, which will take place on March 26th at 9am PDT/4pm GMT.

What Will The Indie Showcase Entail?

Well, the clue is kind of in the name, as it’s a huge celebration of upcoming indie games that are coming to the Xbox. The official Xbox post promises over 100 games from indie developers all over the world, with new game announcements from the likes of DrinkBox, Curve Digital, Devolver Digital, Dear Villagers and more. There will also be new footage and trailers for 25 games, including S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Second Extinction, The Ascent, The Wild at Heart, Voidtrain, Exo One and many more.

While it might not be the big showcase that fans were likely hoping for (I would love some more news about Fable), 100 games coming to the Xbox is certainly nothing to sneeze at. The post also promises news on Xbox indie games coming to Xbox and Xbox Game Pass, so hopefully there’ll be some surprising announcements thrown in for good measure.
