There was nothing to worry about. Smackdown Live came out of the Superstar Shakeup arguably looking like the better brand, threading new stories and allowing old names to make fresh starts. The Tag Team division still doesn’t look great, sure, but on the whole, a welcome set of new additions were made.
Coming out of Smackdown Live, we have Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles to look forward to, Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin sharing a program, and Charlotte bringing some flair to the Women’s division. As thin as the roster still looks, the Smackdown writers have done great with squeezing every inch out of what they have in the past, so they’re surely going to do the same again.

Tamina wasn’t aligned to either brand after the Draft, so she’s really just a new acquisition more than a trade.
Rusev and Kofi are currently sidelined, but the rest of the crop is good to go. Jinder was hindered by the Gronk and Mojo -the weirdest thing I will surely ever type- on his debut. Sin Cara is no doubt going to punch everyone backstage until he gets a decent run, too.
