Ahead of their debut TakeOver event in Blackpool this month, WWE have announced groundbreaking news today with the reveal of a UK Performance Center.

Based at an as-of-yet undisclosed location just outside of London, this new UKPC will be the first world-class training facility outside of the US, cementing WWE’s position to broaden its reach beyond America and also its commitment to the fresh UK brand.

The official announcement was made this morning by Trent Seven on ITV’s Good Morning Britain show, joined by fellow ‘British Strong Style’ stablemates Tyler Bate and current WWE United Kingdom Champion, Pete Dunne, who were all involved in an interview to promote NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool at the Empress Ballroom on Saturday night.

“This is the latest milestone in our global localization strategy and the next step in establishing local NXT brands around the world,” said Triple H.

“We are incredibly proud to open the UK Performance Center and provide our NXT UK Superstars the same world-class coaching and development programs that we deliver at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.”

A press conference later today will reveal more details on the exciting new development but information so far reveals the UK Performance Centre boasts ‘17,000 square feet, two training rings, world-class strength and conditioning equipment, and versatile content creation infrastructure’ making it very similar to the Performance Centre currently based in Florida.

The UKPC is said to house ‘more than 30 of the top European talent currently signed to the rising NXT UK brand’.

Rumours had circulated last year about the creation of a UK Performance Center along with current NXT UK General Manager acting in a key training role. The conference later today is expected to shed more light on this.
