Roman Reigns really can’t catch a break. Seemingly hated by the majority of fans, given a rough ride in and outside the ring by the likes of Braun Strowman, the former Shield member and three-time world champion is now the subject of a petition to have him arrested for attempted murder.
In the aftermath of his Ambulance Match against Strowman at Sunday’s Great Balls of Fire PPV – a match Reigns lost – he ambushed his opponent, hijacked the ambulance, drove it backstage and attempted what is best and most accurately described as ‘vehicular homicide’. Roman is the face in all of this, if you’ll remember.

Not long after, a petition began doing the rounds on social media in which a ‘Jack B’ from Ireland demanded the Big Dog’s arrest and forthwith. Don’t worry, all of you “it’s scripted, you know” crowd: the petitioner’s tongue was and is lodged very firmly in his cheek.
Having amassed 2,882 signatures in a couple of days, perhaps Reigns isn’t as unpopular as we may think. Or maybe people are just too scared to sign it given that we now know the extent to which he will go just to curtail his opponents.
