WWE 2K17: Action Bronson, Black Sabbath Feature on Soundtrack

WWE 2k17

WWE 2K17 isn’t that far away and we don’t even know what it really looks like yet. Even though it’s only two months away, we simply can’t guess how beautiful Roman Reigns’ mane will be, or how confusing Chris Jericho’s will remain in the newest game in the franchise. But we do know who will be on the soundtrack.

Curated by Puff Daddy, the WWE 2K17 soundtrack features a mix of 13 songs from different genres, including Action Bronson, Black Sabbath, Bring Me the Horizon, and Daddy himself. Writing that made me felt weird. Anyway, here’s the tracklist in full:

Action Bronson & Joey Bada$$ (feat. Rico Love) – “What About The Rest Of Us”
Anderson .Paak – “Come Down”
Andy Black – “We Don’t Have To Dance”
Axwell Λ Ingrosso – “This Time”
Black Sabbath – “Paranoid”
Bring Me The Horizon – “Run”
FIDLAR – “Drone”
French Montana (feat. Kojak Black) – “Lockjaw”
iSHi (feat. French Montana, Wale, & Raekwon) – “We Run”
P. Diddy, Black Rob & Mark Curry – “Bad Boy For Life”
Travis Barker & Yelawolf – “Out of Control”
Twenty One Pilots – “Ride”
Yellow Claw (feat. Lil Eddie) – “We Made It”

Speaking on his decisions, Puff Daddy said:

“I am a huge WWE fan. I love the intensity and the competition and I wanted fans to feel that energy in the soundtrack for WWE 2K17. While prepping for the upcoming Bad Boy 20-Year Family Reunion Tour, I’ve been thinking a lot about the past and the artists that inspired me. I mixed some of my favorites with some of the best new acts in the game today to create something really special.”

To be honest, I am not that thrilled with this soundtrack. It features the most generic tracks you find in almost all sports games, excluding one or two gems. Guess I will have to mute the soundtrack if I do buy WWE 2K17, but that’s unlikely while I have no idea what the game will be like. It’s out on October 11th, which does not bode well.
