Wrestling News: Former NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura Debuts On Smackdown Live

Shinsuke Smackdown

This week’s episode of Smackdown Live will go down in history as the night that The King of Strong Style made his awaited debut on the main roster. The former two time NXT Champion was every fan’s first prediction when it came to post-mania call-ups from the developmental brand, and it was everything that any fan could want.

Nakamura’s grand entrance featured the return of his personal violinist to make his appearance seem even more of a spectacle. The crowd was absolutely roaring when the strobe lights hit, granting for his natural charisma to shine through for long-time fans as well as a few new ones who have yet to become familiar with his in-ring style.

It would seem that Nakamura is set to begin feuding with The Miz, following his loss at Wrestlemania to John Cena and Nikki Bella. After his debut crashed an in-ring promo from the A-list couple, no words were shared between the two, however I can only assume that The Miz will have strong words for the King next week on Smackdown Live.

Personally, I was anxious about where The Miz would end up on the card upon the conclusion of his feud with John Cena, despite his recent work being some of his most passionate and well-received of his entire career, he may have struggled to find a suitable opponent to allow his momentum to continue. Shinsuke Nakamura is quite possibly the best person for the job – as not only can he bring out the best of The Miz in the ring, but Miz could also help carry Nakamura on the mic.

I expect by this time next year, Shinsuke Nakamura will be leading Smackdown Live as one of it’s biggest draws. But what do you see him accomplishing on the blue brand? Comment below or on our new facebook page – Cultured Vultures Wrestling.
