Ubsioft has announced that they will be bringing the brand new “The Ubisoft Experience”: a fan event that will take place alongside Insomnia65 in Birmingham for two days in August.
The event will feature Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which will be the first time either will be playable in public in the UK. Watch Dogs Legion will be showcased on the main stage, though it doesn’t look like it will be playable. Roller Champions will also be showing off new content, along with a bunch of other Ubisoft IPs.
The Ubisoft Experience will also give fans the chance to talk to Ubisoft developers and “explore their favourite brands with exclusive experiences”. There will even be a roller disco; my coccyx is screaming already.
If you’re not sure about the name and having WWE The Viking Experience flashbacks, don’t worry too much about it — all revenue from the event will be donated to Special Effect.
The Ubisoft Experience takes place from 24th-25th August at the NEC in Birmingham. Tickets cost £10; you can purchase them here.
If you’re disappointed in this only coming to the UK, don’t be. According to the official website, it appears as if The Ubisoft Experience will also be coming to Sydney and Paris for unconfirmed dates.
