PROGRESS Wrestling confirmed that current NXT UK Champion WALTER will be appearing for the first time since losing the PROGRESS Championship this coming Sunday. WALTER will be teaming with Anti-Fun Police members Chief Deputy Dunne and Los Federales Super Santos Jr in a huge six man match against More Than Hype.
WALTER wasn’t originally scheduled to appear at the Electric Ballroom this weekend, but due to an unfortunate injury putting ‘The Kiwi Buzzsaw’ Travis Banks on the sidelines, a substitute was needed. What a sub this was for AFP.

Many assumed that the ever-popular AFP affiliate Gene Munny might have been in the wings to replace Banks this Sunday, but it seems the lads behind PROGRESS were able to pull a huge favour from Triple H, who’s allowing NXT UK’s biggest attraction to once again compete for the BritWres promotion.
WALTER has yet to receive his one-on-one rematch for the PROGRESS Championship since losing it via a cash-in from Eddie Dennis at Chapter 95: Still Chasing. Perhaps this might be the start of a road to redemption for WALTER? A big win over budding trios team More Than Hype would definitely set him up to challenge Cara Noir in the near future.
