Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Release Date Revealed, Jak & Daxter Pre-Order Bonus

Uncharted Lost Legacy

Naughty Dog don’t like to do things by halves, and that’s been the case with Uncharted: The Lost Legacy from what we know so far. It isn’t going to be like Left Behind – this thing is going to be huge.

With expectation bubbling over the past week or so, the release date for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has been revealed. You can take control of Chloe from August 23rd and kick off a whole new expedition exclusively on PS4.

Some new footage accompanied the reveal:

And here’s the box art (don’t ask about the weird artifacting on the image):

Shaun Escayg, Creative Director, and Kurt Margenau, Game Director, shared some details including a bonus featuring two of Naughty Dog’s favourite sons:

“Anyone that pre-orders Uncharted: The Lost Legacy at participating retailers will receive a free digital code to download Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy on The Lost Legacy’s release. For those who pre-order on PS Store, you’ll also get an Uncharted: The Lost Legacy PS4 theme designed by Truant Pixel.”

So not only do you get a standalone expansion to Uncharted that will reportedly be over ten hours long, but you will also receive a free digital copy of one of the best platformers ever made. They didn’t exactly need that pre-order incentive but they went there anyway.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy isn’t full retail price, coming it at £34.99/$44.99. For anyone who purchased Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Digital Deluxe Edition, Explorer’s Pack, or the Triple Pack, the expansion will be free.
