UFC Fighter Ronda Rousey to Star in Her Own Biopic

Ronda Rousey is the type of girl that you want to be, regardless of what’s between your legs. She’s pretty and talented, and most recently her talents have split into the two categories: mixed martial arts and acting. Now you might expect me to go on about how she beat the shit out of some lady in the UFC (which she has multiple times), however this is about her current upcoming project which is a combination of both her talents.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Ronda Rousey is starring in her own biopic. After the success of her autobiography, it would be wasteful for this to not be converted from paper to the big screen.

Honestly, I used to think biopics were made when people were dead or old, to put it quite bluntly. I wouldn’t have expected to see someone’s life only 28 years in, but Rousey is interesting enough for a biopic to be created. However, she hasn’t had the easiest route to become who she is, there was a bit of traffic on the way. She dropped out of high school and had a rocky start to life and now we’re going to get to see where it all started from, especially those who are too lazy to read.

You’ve got to give it to the woman, especially in a field that’s considered to be so “manly”, she’s really made a name for herself. I personally believe she may not have been as motivated and as good of a fighter if she didn’t have this driving force of growing up and almost being told to believe that fighting’s only for men. No wonder Paramount Pictures wanted to have rights to this, as well as it being personal to Rousey, it’s also something that can be applicable and motivational for others who many be stuck in that same situation, sort of a win-win situation.

There’s no specifics to when the biopic will be made and released, but it’ll be interesting to see how it turns out and how true the book it stays and if Ronda Rousey will be fighting in it because we all love a bit of action, right?
