THQ Nordic have announced that they’re remastering the popular third person shooter Red Faction: Guerrilla, and it’s got a much better name than Darksiders II: Death-initive Edition. Presenting Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered. Bravo. Give a pay rise to whoever managed to come up with that.

Guerrilla, which came out back in 2009 and featured some of the best destruction ever committed to a video game, chronicled the journey of one Alec Mason, as he joining the Red Faction rebel group to drive the tyrannous EDF away from Mars. In order to do that, he spends most of the game twatting buildings with hammers.

For the most part, Re-Mars-tered is the same game as the original Red Faction Guerrilla, albeit with the usual graphical and texture overhaul, improved lighting, 4K support and all that good stuff. So long as the incredible Geomod 2.0 engine remains untouched, it’ll still be a blast to play. The game is scheduled to launch, or re-launch, sometime in Q2 2018 for PS4, Xbox One and PC, with Xbox One X support already confirmed.
