This Week’s Xbox Free Play Days Includes Sports And Survival

Basketball, bikes and being hunted down like a dog.

Xbox’s Free Play Days event has returned this weekend, giving Xbox Live Gold Members the chance to experience some new games for free for a full weekend. This week, you’ve got the choice between some extreme sports, some silly sports or the likelihood of being hunted down for sport.

First up is MX vs ATV All Out, the latest in a long line of MX vs ATV games that are perfect for those prefer to spend their time racing in the mud than on the track. Whether or not you prefer racing or freestyle stunts, you’ll find both of your needs catered for here.

Next is NBA 2K Playgrounds 2, which is a mouthful of a title. While the NBA 2K series is more simulation heavy, Playgrounds 2 is faster paced, arcade inspired alternative. Let’s be honest, it’s the closest you’re going to get to a new NBA Jam, so it should be celebrated for that alone.

Finally, we’ve got Vigor, a survival game currently in the Xbox Game Preview program. Up to 16 players try to survive in post-war Norway as you scavenge weapons and supplies to build your shelter and survive the dangers that your fellow man pose. Like I said, you’re likely to be hunted down for sport.

Will you be playing any of these titles, or will you be focused more on a new release like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice? Let us know in the comments.
