As if you needed an extra reason to pre-order The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Nintendo Life has learned that those who pre-order the remake from the Nintendo UK store will also receive a keychain and a poster, which will come at no extra cost. You won’t even need to pay for post and packaging, because Nintendo kindly offers free delivery on orders priced at over $20.
The keychain depicts the game’s version of Link with his cute little eyes and his pointy ears (although the fact that he’s wielding a sword means he may not be so cute after all), while the A2 poster shows off the beautiful box art, and any self-respecting Zelda fan will immediately want to have it framed and hung on their wall.
Like most of the main entries in the Zelda series, Link’s Awakening will take place in an open world environment, and given the wealth of things you’ll be able to see and do across the vast Koholint Island, the standard £49.99 price tag ($59.99) seems all the more reasonable. Not to mention the fact that the game will receive great reviews, because, you know, it’s a main entry in the Legend of Zelda series.
Link’s Awakening will be released exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on September 20, 2019, and it will sell over one million copies before the end of the year.
