Sony and Naughty Dog have announced that they’ll be hosting a brand new State of Play episode that’s focusing purely on The Last of Us: Part 2, which is scheduled to launch on PS4 on June 19th. Check out the announcement tweet below.

The broadcast, which is set for 1pm PT, 4pm ET and 9pm BST, includes a special preview of gameplay, featuring the game’s director Neil Druckmann. The PlayStation Blog post attached to the tweet states that the current cut for the showcase clocks in at around 20 minutes, and includes an extended 8 minute sequence of unseen gameplay.
The blog post is also quick to note that the State of Play will not feature news and updates regarding the PS5, as this will simply be a deep dive into the world and gameplay of The Last of Us: Part 2. Are you excited for Naughty Dog’s next big blockbuster? Sound off in the comments below.
