The Division 2 Gets A Private Beta, Sign-Ups Now Live

Keep forgetting that this game is coming out.

The Division 2

Ubisoft have announced that their upcoming squad shooter The Division 2 will be getting a private beta on all platforms, but the only way you can guarantee access to the beta is by pre-ordering the game. You can sign up online, but that won’t guarantee you a place in the beta. It pays to play, I guess.

The beta announcement coincides with a story trailer that introduces us to the different factions Division agents will be contending with in the quarantined streets of Washington. With The True Sons, The Hyenas and The Outcasts vying for control of America’s capital after the Dollar Flu outbreak, players will have a lot to contend with.

The beta will go live on February 7th and will run until February 11th, allowing you to play the game before it launches a month later on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Fingers crossed that the full game will launch with more content than the original. Fool me once, and all that.
