Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season Demo Available On PS4 & Xbox One

Telltale's The Walking Dead

Ahead of its first episode launching on August 14th, which is just under two weeks away, Telltale have release a demo for The Walking Dead: The Final Season for PS4 and Xbox One.

The demo will encompass the same gameplay shown in a recent trailer and will take between fifteen and twenty minutes to complete. It will comprise of Clementine and AJ searching for food in an abandoned house before things go awry.

It’s a brief glimpse at what to expect from the upcoming season, which will also be the final foray for Telltale’s beloved narrative-centric adventure. Huge changes are coming for the franchise’s final hurrah, incidentally also the last time Telltale will be using the Telltale Tool on one of their projects before moving onto Unity.

The demo does not look like it’s coming to PC and Switch, at least for the time being. The PC version will launch on the same day as the console version with the Switch set to get it later in the year. There will be no version of The Final Season for iOS and Android.

I’ve been playing through The Walking Dead Collection as it’s free if you pre-order the game on consoles so I am ready to try a sample of what to expect from its final outing. I couldn’t find it in the UK PlayStation Store, but US users can find it easily here.
