Super Smash Bros. Melee Turns 15 Years Old!

Super Smash Bros. Melee turns an astounding fifteen years old today.

Originally released on the Nintendo Gamecube, Melee picked up where its N64 prequel started and created intense, superbly ridiculous action for gamers of all ages.

Featuring more Nintendo characters than you can shake a Star Rod at, it’s almost no surprise that it’s still mightily popular to this day, even more so than its sequel, 2008’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

It’s an ever present at eSports events and might even last for the next fifteen years. You have our permission to Falcon Punch anyone who doesn’t like this game.

Here’s to you, Melee.
