Like other RPG-like modes in video games, Street Fighter 6’s World Tour mode allows players to augment their stats by equipping certain items on their characters, meaning their defense and attack stats can be improved by just wearing some sick drip. That being said, some people would obviously prefer aesthetic over cold, hard stat boosts, but Capcom have actually put more thought into their RPG side mode than some developers give to their fully-fledged games, letting players do both.
If you’re looking to combine fashion and function in World Tour mode, this is how you can create appearance loadouts in Street Fighter 6.

Throughout the game, you’ll level up and earn sklll points that can be used to earn talents on the character’s skill tree. The skill tree might seem paltry at first, but once you reach the final perk and earn the champion status, a second, bigger tree will appear. At the top of this second tree is the perk you’ll need to earn in order to create appearance loadouts, which will finally let you distinguish your cosmetics from your actual stats.
Once you’ve unlocked the perk, you’ll be given an option in the gear section of the Status menu to create an appearance loadout separate to your equipment loadout. Here, you can choose the outfits and gear you’d like to have appear on your character. If that happens to coincide with the items you have equipped on your main loadout, you can just leave the corresponding appearance slots blank.
One caveat to keep in mind is that the only gear you can equipment on your appearance slots is the gear you actually own, so if you accidentally sell or sacrifice a piece of gear that you’d like to equip on an appearance slot, you’re out of luck. If there’s a piece of gear that might not have a good stats but looks fantastics, make sure you keep it to hand in order to equip it on your appearance slots later on in the World Tour mode.
